Data management

Hi readers,

Having a couple of hetic weeks moving houses and finalising deals I have struggled to find any spare time to share some thoughts on my blog. Softconnection is going through a real change and I am confident that we will be announcing some big announcements in the next few weeks.

Reading some interesting articles latelty it is quite clear that mobile phones are becoming more and more like mini laptops. The new Nokia E series devices are really changing the meaning of corporate mobile phones, enabling users to connect their work emails to their phones. So what's next? it is nearly certain that mobile phones will some day soon have the same amount of memory in them then a normal laptop, allowing users to do more practical things all on the mobile phone.

This is where we at Softconnection intend to focus our energy on. Softconnection is already delivering SC BackUp, which is a mobile tool that is used in fact already for mobile data management, allowing users to manage the most important data on their phones all from the phone. With mobile phones becoming increasingly advanced and more capable of performing and storing more data, it is our plan to develop software that can backup and manage most of the data and settings on a mobile phone.
